Jose Mourinho defied the odds to win his first trophy in Spain by guiding his team to victory over the "almighty" Barcelona C.F. in a match which required extra time. On his first attempt at El Clasico Mourinho lost by a disappointing 5-0. On his second attempt he engineered a draw. On his third attempt he was able to devise a victory in what could be considered the most important El Clasico match so far this season.
I can't help but believe that this is the beginning of the end of Barcelona's dominance over Spanish football. It will only be a matter of time before Mourinho completely turns Spanish Football on it's head like he did in the previous countries in which he managed.
As the semi-final of the Champions League approaches, it will be very interesting to see if Mourinho can repeat his feat of last season by eliminating his rivals.
