Rooney's Wonder Goal

The Manchester Derby on February 12, 2011 is a match I will never forget largely as a result of the almost magical goal that was scored by Wayne Rooney to secure victory for Manchester Utd on the day and virtually knocking any title hopes Manchester City were harbouring.

Sir Alex ferguson described the goal scored by Wayne as probably the best goal he has ever seen at Old Trafford and Wayne himself had described it as the best goal he has ever scored in his profession career.

One thing for sure though, Manchester United fans could not stop watching highlights of this goal over the weekend. Pure class.
